You can find almost any political bent in every denomination, though some may tend to swing a certain way politically. For instances, most Lutherans being conservative tends to hold true generally, though you will find exceptions.

Truthfully, I've always had a bit more respect towards those "bigoted hateful" churches who tend to disdain outsiders and hate other human tribes.

Why? Because they're following the Bible mostly as written. I believe it's all bronze age absurdity, but I think it's particularly ridiculous when they claim to follow the bible but have to revise all the teachings to literally mean the opposite. Like those ultra-liberal churches.

But truth be told, I'd be happiest if the entire damn religion got consigned to the dustbin of history, just like all the pagan religions before it.
