I think the Romans rose and fell according to God's will. I think Christ alone is the culmination of history and human existence, I do not believe in a church, and I don't think the fall of Rome was a bad thing. All of my ancestors at the time lived north of the Roman Empire, periodically raiding them, or otherwise were altogether semi-oblivious to their existence. I do not care when I read people bitching about their fall everyday because I think it was a good thing.
