Helen Kellers storie is proof that people will believe absolutely anything, no matter how outlandish and unbelievable.
How do you teach a deaf blind person the word "love" or "duty" or "justice"? Nonsense.
>Keller supported eugenics, which had become popular with both new understandings and misapprehensions of principles of biological inheritance. Sounds like Facilitated Communication (FC). A good example was Anna Stubblefield who raped a mentally disabled man who said "he said we were in love". Basically made him type that. "Tell Them You Love Me" is a great documentary on her story

There is video of her speaking coherently, she clearly understands how to communicate in proper English. God only knows how she ever accomplished what she did, it can really only be described as miraculous.
