Dan Carlin is an overrated historian, and overrated podcaster, to boot. Of course. He has Trump derangement syndrome. If anything, he should be deported to el salvador for his unamerican, rhetoric that he spews on the daily basis. What trump is doing in d c is based, and I hope he occupies the entire united states with the military to put down this unamerican insurrection. I want to see soldiers in the streets every day. I want to see crime plummet to 0%. Because no one is going to dare take up arms against the United States military, I want to see results. I want to see America become number one again, baby. And I don't give a f*** about the Constitution. Anymore. The liberals f****** shed on it so now they can live with it.

Someone like Carlin should already be aware of the fact that the US has very solid legal safeguards against any would-be dictator. Unless they somehow managed to rewrite the entire constitution a democrat could still, and probably will, be in office in 4 years.

Ruined himself by sucking up to Israel kek. Same with Victor Davis Hanson, honestly I now think his historical work is bullshit analysis and wishful thinking. Iโ€™m glad I pirated all of Danโ€™s early work back in the day kek

>Someone like Cato should already be aware of the fact that the Roman Republic has very solid legal safeguards against any would-be dictator for life. Unless Caesar somehow managed to rewrite the entire legal code an optimate could still, and probably will, be consul next year.

>Lockdowns? A necessary procedure even if it's government overreach.
>Declaring federal control of DC police because the city is a shithole? America has gone too far.

Well he is technically correct, it's natural and expected that Israelis wouldn't like that. So they should be forced to do it.

For a coup to succeed a majority of the population needs to either support it or be apathetic about it, but that is not the case.

spend some time here and you'll realise the majority of this board's knowledge of history comes from Carlin podcasts and it's copycat podcasts
