>>and masses of Russians moving to Baltics and to the stans [under various governmental excuses]
>[lists one of the excuses]
That's right.
>not interbreed with the locals
Where did they say "not" to "interbreed"? Were they sanctioned for it? Were they even warned against it? No, they were given a flat and if they were a military official, their kids were given special treatment in the local school, all while listening to speeches about creating a single people with no nations.
>As a result we got isolated groups of Russians
That is "a" result, yes. Another result is that 30% of Lithuanians speak Russian at home to this day. Yet another result is that regions that were almost completely ethnic, such as Siberia, Dagestan, Kamchatka now have a good share of whites. A very specific result is that Kamchatkans actually had so many Ukrainians moved there during the Soviet era that still today they on occasion replace G with H like stereotypical Ukrainians. The russification and nation-mixing is extremely well documented and far-reaching, I'm not even exactly sure why anyone would be skeptical of it or write it off as a steppe initiative or isolated events. Entire regions changed their language and makeup.
