Why isn’t sinobooism a phenomenon across East Asia?
How come there aren’t more Japanese or Korean fanboys of ancient Chinese civilization like Han dynasty, kind of like how there are Romeaboos in Anglo/Germanic and Slavic countries who think of themselves as filthy barbarians civilized by the glorious bigger antique civilization?

After all, ancient Greece and Rome is to western civilization as China is to eastern. How else did Confucianism, Zen Buddhism, and onions sauce spread?

Those kinds of Germanics and Slavs tend to be uneducated and actually visualise the Roman Empire as white and looking like themselves. Ancient Chinese dynasties are fully understood as being the Chinese nation, which everyone hates for an abundance of reasons, so no one particularly respects them.

Wasn't there a theory in the Edo Japan that all the ancient Chinese were slaughtered and raped by nomads and therefore modern (at that time) Chinese have no relation to Ancient population of China? As far as I know, this theory was also very popular in the interwar period.

Gibbons would see no reason to write his books if the roman empire still existed

Interesting how Western Europeans theorized very similar things about the Greeks.

Even now, Japanese and Chinese can communicate at a pidgin level using kanji/hanzi. (Well, maybe pidgin level isn't quite right- quite a bit of vocabulary but little grammar in common, so they'd have to just throw words together and hope the idea gets across.) Especially since they both still study Classical Chinese in school even if not many are still proficient in it.

Germanics and Slavs can believe this in theory as long as they are far away but once their town gets flooded with Italians they protest because they are obviously brown and foreign.

China only very recently became rich enough to produce expensive cultural products. It's cultural wave is still rising right now.
There are xianxia webnovels, manhua, donghua (anime), TV dramas inspired by Daoist philosophy. Even Western writers pick it up.
Chinese period costume TV dramas already surpassed everyone, at least in terms of scale, practical and computer FX.

Reverse is also true.
Funny how Japanese term Zen is more popular than Chinese Chan.
Mainland China piggybacks on Hong Kong achievements in cinema, so Hans are cantonboos. Like Jackie Chan is a total CCP shill.
China claims barbarian heritage as well. Now Mulan is a Han, Mongols and Manchus are Hans too, qipao is a Chinese wear.

Also there is a Japanese manga/anime Kingdom about Chinese Warring States

Or they seem that way to you because you were exposed to the (Chinese-originating) archetypes and tropes in Japanese media first. Chinese literature and culture have been hugely influential in Japan for centuries.
