Did the fruit represent sex?
fruit of knowledge, "to know" is often a way to describe sex in the bible. Or maybe it literally just means knwoeldge of sex
we know:
1. Eve had some knowledge of morality before the fruit was eaten (had some desire to obey God)
2. Only after eating the fruit did Adam and Eve see their gentialia as something to cover
3. By eating the fruit Adam and Eve became "like [God]" (able to create life)
4. Only after the fruit was eaten did God tell Adam and Eve to have sex
This seems to be the only interpretation of the story that makes any sense.
