No. Decline of the western roman empire was slow and the majority of Germans who settled in the empire wanted to be given status as elites in the empire not destroy it. When Germans moved into an area, either via a treaty that granted them land in exchange for soldiers or just straight up conquest/moving into a vacated area they often preserved the Roman bureaucracy and just collected tax from Roman landholders. Alaric sacked Rome as a powerplay against Honorius to get named magister militum and secure land/food deals. Even the Vandals who were barely "Romanized" sacked Rome for reasons of political maneuvering within the imperial system after the Theodosian dynasty fell. Odoacer/Theodoric in Italy preserved the senate and minted coins with the emperor in constantinople on them. We have these threads nearly every day.

1. Adoption of Christianity
2.Allowing Christian German converts into military positions of power ie magister militum see the franks
3. Trusting these people to defeat the goths in 380, they contained them in Bulgaria but did nothing for 2 years
4. Given authority to negotiate truce with the goths and the deal screwed over the Romans
5. 468 battle of cape bon, the Roman general was a goth. He fugged up the battle out of low IQ or deliberately (pay off by the vandal enemies who are Germanic like him?)

Not sure what else you would call an outside hostile force with no ties to the Roman state taking land away from them against their will as. Maybe you could make the argument for Odoacer in Italy, who changed relatively little other than the title of Emperor being defunct under him. Even at the best the Visigoths who were (hardly) accepted as Roman 'allies' extorted and fought the Romans in order to gain land settlements which they quickly expanded outwards against Roman authority. But even with recognition they more or less acted outside of Roman power and were really only beholden to themselves as a foreign nation in Roman land.

If you think Alaric is the majority of Germanic peoples you would be mistaken, and even Alaric did not want to be part of the Empire, he wanted titles and the money that came from it. In his final negotiations with Honorius he demanded Noricum and Raetia as his own land that he would rule on his own. He wanted the money and prestige that came with Roman titles but none of the responsibilities or loyalties which came with it.
