I've only caught glimpses of this conspiracy but industrialized Russia is basically the white race at peak performance. All European lineages can trace themselves back to the steppe. And it was the strap that time and time again conquered Europe

I've just been reading about Russian history. Russians hate the tsar by the way. The narrative is that he was a weak ruler but the events that they cite for showing his weakness are heavily propagandized before WWII. It sounds more like everything wasn't actually that bad until after 1905 when there was essentially a false flag by Japanese intelligence which got Russians to march to their deaths. This outrage was exploited by many news outlets and many diverse revolutionaries marched, but the Jews were the most numerous radicals with guns.

Also the mutiny in their navy was a psyop which the shipyard unions convinced the navy stationed there that there was a revolution and the war, in this case the russian-japanese war, was over. This gave the rest of the revolutionaries the fuel to claim the armed forces had joined the revolution

They have a right to fear the colossus next door. It has mass mobilization capacity, is enormous in size, cannot be influenced from the outside due to its strongman president, and is capable of erasing entire states.

No NATO nation is 'afraid' of Russia in that sense because they know that a NATO country will not be invaded, but nobody likes Russia because the country is just associated with being a corrupt shithole ran by oligarchs and a dictator. Also, no one was afraid of Russia until invasion of Ukraine. European leaders were willing to cooperate with Russia and most of them considered Putin a reliable partner.
This is why I find this Russian narrative ridiculous. For 15 years or so Europeans weren't anti-Russian, if anything it was the EU that was tricked thinking that Russia actually changed.
