The revolutionaries were cringe redditors but supporting the monarchists is cucky. So idk

They are both wrong
Just eliminate the King and have a new one

Rebel victory ALWAYS results in an all-out massacre as infighting occurs to replace the power vacuum

I am not saying do not support rebellion. I'm saying that even the most corrupt dictator has incentives to pummel down criminals. The goal is to improve the government, not destroy it

In their defense, the whole upper class was made up of cringe redditors and people who had been trained into Chatbots.

>picrel didnt even enforce universal white male suffrage after winning a war based on abolishing monarchy

They did not really "abolish" monarchy. George Washington was being offered the new role of King.

He just refused.

In essence, in their view, it was a coup by the existing noble households, who then created a new form of oligarchy, but still oligarchy

In the Founding Father's defense - those Whiskey Farmers were poor, smelly and the rich distillers had requested a favourable tax code for themselves.

Don't be not rich.

Well yeah, that's why they didn't devolve into a clusterfuck of warlords slaughtering eachother. They explicitly transfered power from the elite to a smaller group of elite. They never had any delusions about "every man a king".

No one really. In the end it was just the frogs chomping out and slaughtering each other.

The revolution was necessary, they just got a little carried away.
