No. My point is that it is a meaningless apologetic to say it was Satan who murdered Jobs family, therefore removing any and all responsibility of God. In reality, the story is more akin to a human making a bet with his dog regarding whether his good neighbor will crack if his 5 year old daughter were killed. The man says his neighbor will maintain his good moral character and move on, whereas the dog says the neighbor will lose himself to grief and vengeance.
So the human merely loosens his grip on the leash and allows the dog to maul the neighbor's child.
Hence, it's pointless to try and distinguish between:
>"God destroyed Jobs life to prove a point to Satan"
and
>"Satan destroyed Jobs life to prove a point to God"
>"b-but God didnt murder Jobs family personally that was Satan!"
Try releasing a bunch of rabid pitbulls into a daycare and see how well that excuse holds in court, anon.
