Honestly I think Britain would've been much more comfy and better if they had just never done the whole empire global colonialism thing. They'd be a homogeneous regional power like Denmark -- which is not the worst fate in the world -- instead of the shithole it is now.

By that point in time they had antagonized everyone in Europe at one time or another. Had they not done that shit they wouldn't have survived the century as a sovereign state, and would likely be an extended territory of France.

Nah the Jews would still be out to destroy the UK. They’re trying to do the same shit to the Poles and Irish and they weren’t colonial powers. The guilt tripping over the empire is just an excuse.

There would still be as ardent a campaign to fill England with blacks and browns regardless of empire. England forming the world’s largest empire was great and the seethe it creates is even better. And it shouldn’t have even become so large and powerful considering it only ever cared about making money. Its settlor colonialism created some of the greatest countries in the world and it only improved the its own wealth become a global trade hegemon. The only people who don’t like the British Empire are larpers and losers or, still a worse fate yet, Indians.
