Seriously speaking, is there any other option than either import foreigners or to just accept demographic collapse and bear it's full blow? I don't really believe it is possible to reverse plummeting birth rates in a post-agrarian nation. Even socially conservative countries like Iran and most Gulf Arabs are below the replacement level. And I don't know how any nation could succeed in controlled deurbanization to restore rural communities.

Boomers can't operate self check out worth a shit and basically refuse their own family's assistance let alone bother being taught. Stores still staff like 3-4 people for self-checkout. If we are gonna do some wild takes it's more likely to work in developing countries who have a younger population and more willingness to flex and leapfrogging.
