The most disgusting thing about the Bible is it's teaching that Man is fundamentally evil and broken and needs to be redeemed. It is an evil belief system dictated by an evil, negative God. When you internalize it and really believe it, that's when you become dependent and *actually* broken. The truth is humanity is fundamentally good.

No I mean I've seen people destroy their lives with drugs and alcohol, I've seen people get into fights and get criminal records over the pettiest things, I've seen people absolutely trash a public space because "not my problem lmao"

Many people are naturally good, but many people will not do the right thing unless there is a reward or punishment attached. I'm not talking about God either

The Bible is one step ahead of you because it actually contains several pretty good lists of good and bad behavior, and you don't have one.
Get a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle. Left hand is good things, right hand is bad things. Once your list is complete, we will start building both cases. Then you will turn sixteen.

Not him but in some sense this moral education happens naturally, assuming you're not chained away alone in a closet by an Austrian at birth or surrounded by a minority population that believes it's oppressed and has a moral obligation to commit crimes. If you behave in manners that hurt others who aren't typically behaving in manners that hurt others themselves, you're probably going to suffer (unless you're a psychopath or a proper radical), you'll be on instinct, or due to hard ancient principle, ostracized and or punished violently and learn how to avoid that brand of suffering, and in the process become moral according to your fellow tribesmen. What your tribesmen settle on is likely battle and time tested even if it needs updating from time to time.

This is not a teaching of the Bible, you worthless fucking mongrel.
Both the Bible and the Church teach that Man was made in the image of God, and therefore have an inherent dignity, meaning that Man is fundamentally good, not evil.
The problem is, this inherently good nature was wounded and deformed by original sin.

Even so, we do not lose our inherent goodness, nor does the effect of original sin prevent us from reconciling with God through His grace.

Priest class probably had strong representation from all neurodivergent pockets. Schizos without a doubt among hermits and monks probably, but would they get along with each other in monasteries and could they give a sermon? Tighter guidelines has aspergers written all over it.
