the Germanic mind cannot allow someone to be more powerful than them. even if people who have gained more power than them are no threat to British civilization. The Germanic mind just cannot allow it. they simply don't believe in coexistence with other powers. unless thst other power are Jews but thats a different conversation.

if you're looking for a logical answer, you won't get it because are still animals at the end of the day and every animal as instincts and traits.

They just wanted to contain Germany and stop it from expanding.
