I'm against forced conversion because the only thing that will cause someone to believe in Christ is the operation of the Spirit of God, this would only cause the Church to be corrupted by unbelievers bringing their idols with them. That being said, the state is to suppress heresies and false religion, not for the purpose of converting those within them but because it is his duty under the law of God (Deuteronomy 13, 12:2-3).
