Russians are a completely different race to Poles. Russians spawned from the Rus tribe raping the local Steppe peoples, they have more Swedish, but more importantly Eastern Steppe DNA as a result. Poles are relatively closer to Bohemians and Northern Germans.

Many Germans there simply changed their surnames to Polish ones, a lot of people discover this about their families only later in life.
Poles obviously have higher potential than Russians as evidenced by their development in medieval times.
They also didn't get one-shotted by Mongols like Russians did.

We're all aware that American lend lease won WW2 while all the sissies were cowering in London. Doesn't change the fact that the cities of Stettin and Danzig were built by Germans, the rebuilt ones were called some other name no one from relevant regions can pronounce.
Btw the rebuilt city centres still have Hanseatic architecture since that's worth so much tourism money.
Anyway don't know why Poles get butthurt by obvious facts, at least they built their own capitals. Unlike the Baltic countries.
