>But if that's the case, wouldn't that also imply that Christianity and Islam are false as well?
Yeah.
All religon is ultimately nonsense but the social organization it attaches to is not. It's not like the theology isn't important, but a church/mosque/temple in your community is not just about the theology, it's also a social institution, and it can help fashion an identity among people and give them a sense of meaning or moral structure that regulates norms in a community. It changes over time.
The Jews also have an ethno-religion however so you can be a Jew without practicing the religion or believing in God. Israeli nationalism is also a man-made construct. It was started by a relatively small group of intellectuals who popularized the idea, but it didn't take off until certain historical events, pressures, population movements, created the conditions for the Jews in Palestine to seize control of the territory by force and "change the facts on the ground." The Israeli military is not just there to fight wars, it's also a social institution. The army is important because it indoctrinates people to see themselves a certain way. The word "indoctrination" sounds bad, but they understood very early on that a national army is very useful as like a machine to get a bunch of Jews from different countries who landed there to now consider themselves part of the same project:

That's "real" in a sense. That army exists. But it's also "false" in a sense. It's a man-made construction.
