So what do you think is the best religion?

The religion I'm most able to tolerate is Unitarian Universalism. They have no sine qua non beliefs (you can be a member in good standing as an open atheist) and are essentially a group for people who want to do religiony things together without necessarily caring about any sort of doctrine. This should tell you about how I feel about religion.

The best religion is mine: I venerate, but do not worship the following things 1) my ancestors, 2) the Republic, 3) Nature.

These three things actually exist (unlike jewish fairy tales). They are the source of my life. They can do harm, but must exist in order for me to exist. I also seek to uphold the classical virtues, the golden rule, and a general love for the long-term, common interest of humanity.

Which Republic?

I live in the United states. The republic can exist in a flawed state, just like nature can be punishing or some of your ancestors can be pieces of shit. But you still need them to exist at all. It's about venerating the good side of these sources of existence and projecting that into the present and future.

As for the question of monarchy vs. Democracy, I would say that a state is either for private interests or public ones and I support a state that is built for the commonwealth

Scientology would unironically be the coolest religion if it were true

My girlfriend has said this before, she says she doesn't think Scientology is true but it would be kinda cool if it were. (What she personally thinks is true is Celtic polytheism.)

The one that can stay up to date with the changes in technology and culture. The one that exists in harmony within the society, not trying to hijack and replace its values by dogma and tradition of a religious institution. The one that meets the market demands for spiritual services without the requirement for exclusive commitment.

I think the closest thing would be blackjack and hookers.

Islam
>traditional
>patriarchal
>monotheistic
>seeks to eliminate all traces of the "old world" to prevent strife
>elaborate legal system and clearly outlined way of living
>actual clerical class who further the religion for modern contexts instead of just wearing robes and singing hymnes

That's pretty based desu, I hope it gives you meaning and satisfaction. Personally I can't really care about my distant ancestors though. Sure they led to my existence, but they are essentially no different from any other people and their connection to me isn't close like my parents who raised me.

Christianity and it's not even close.
Many of the common day to day things and "common sense" and wellness noble practices that today we take for granted only exist thanks to their introduction by Christianity.
Small things like "please" and "thank you", today you see a sharp decrease of these wellness noble practices because we're going further and further from the christ society.
I believe we live in a post millenia kingdom world
