every conservative atheist I have met has been spergy, dysgenic, generally incompetent, has lived on the internet, and has had accomplished little in life
every mildly progressive christian I have met has been exceptionally attractive, athletic, sociable, and upwardly mobile
I'm not trying to make some point, I'm not a progressive christian myself, I'm just saying it's a weird phenomenon

Every progressive Christian I've met was either gay or had a gay son, but if by progressive you mean they don't really care that much about their religion and are otherwise basically normal liberals then I might agree.

Common rightists tend to be more hedonistic/self-service than leftists in America, when they say religion is necessary for society to function they are telling the ugly truth about themselves. Ideally they should be separated into their respective low-trust and high-trust societies.

Have you ever been to a liberal church? I have, and the people there are either old and have been going to that church out of habit long before it went woke, or blue haired liberal women wanting an "affirming" church that tells them that Jesus wants their kid to be trans. Neither are particularly attractive to me.

The only example of a conservative atheist that I can think of was Christopher Hitchens, who hated Islam so much he supported an illegal war of aggression because hey let's kill some Muzzies for "totally legitimate" reasons. To be fair, he was also ardently against the state of Israel too, so it's a mixed bag.
