Tsar Nicholas II basically did everything possible while he was in power to ensure that he and his family members were eventually killed by an angry mob. It's hard to feel bad for the guy, which is why it's insane the Russian Orthodox Church made him a saint. I can understand his children maybe but not Nicholas II himself.
