Also Arabic itself as a language originated in the levant (encompassing Jordan and the Golan), the peninsula used to speak south semitic languages like Ge'ez

If you’ve ever been to these countries you would start calling them Arab countries. Actually they themselves call them Arab countries. There’s only two distinct regions in this picture. North Africa (amazigh only, exluding Egypt and Sudan) and the true “Arab world” from Egypt to Iraq
