All europeans are made up of 3 populations. The OG western hunter gatherer that populated all of europe. Then a big wave(s) of anatolian farmer cam through 7500 years ago. Then about 3500 bc the proto indo europeans aka aryan invasions happened. All europeans have those people dna. Aryan dna peaks in the east. Hunter gatherer peaks in the west. Anatolian farmer dna peaks in Southern Europe. That's probably why they have more tan skin. Another opinion is they live around the Mediterranean, of coarse they have tan skin. It's much sunnier than the rest of europe. So just like northern europeans evolved to have pale skin for lack of sun. Maybe southern europeans evolved tan skin to deal with alot of sun?
