Why do evangelicals give catholic church a hard time for collaborating with nazis during ww2?
they didn't have much a choice, it was either nazis or commies, and the nazis were the lessor evil. commies would have killed them, nazis would have tolerated them.

What's funny is that they really didn't do that, rather they undermined Fascist governments at every turn, often for very stupid reasons like the government using church property to house people whose homes were destroyed in bombing. This way the clergy contributed to the extermination of Christianity from Eastern Europe, LMAO.

Because evangelism is just communism in religious form. Dialectically speaking, it inverts socialism to capitalism and puts the primacy of the nation above Rome. Luther led to Herder and Hegel, who led to Marx and Lenin. it inverts one thing while preserving another, just like how dialectics work. Communism then inverted the state after Luther inverted Rome.
