OP prove you're white by explaining what happens after the killing of the suitors and why Homer decided to end the story in that way.

The Iliad and Odyssey were actually part of a larger epic cycle describing the Trojan War and it's aftermath. There were many other epics written by other authors. The two composed by Homer are the only ones which survive in full as we only have fragments and summaries of the others. All the epic poems in the cycle were were
>Cypria by Stasinus, which describes the events leading up the Trojan War such as the Judgement of Paris and Abduction of Hellen, as well as the first 9 years of the conflict.
>Iliad by Homer, which describes Achilles' quarrel with Agamemnon and the Trojan prince Hector, ending with Achilles killing Hector in revenge for the death of Patroclus, and King Priam of Troy coming to ransom Hector's body.
>Aethiopis by Arctinus, which describes the arrival of the Trojan allies Penthesileia the Amazon and Memnon the Aethiopian, their deaths at Achilles' hands in revenge for the death of Antilochus, and Achilles' own death.
>Little Iliad by Lesches, which describes the events after Achilles' death such as the building of the Trojan Horse and the Awarding of the Arms to Odysseus.
>Iliou persis ("Sack of Troy") by Arctinus, which as it's name suggests describes the sack of Troy by Achaean forces and Athena's rage over the Achaean forces desecrating her temple in Troy and killing people who took refuge there.
>Nostoi ("returns") by either Agias or Eumelus, which describes the return home of Achaean forces, their fates due to Athena punishing them for their acts, ending with the returns of Agamemnon and Menelaus.
>Odyssey by Homer, which describes Odysseus's 10-year long journey home, ending with Odysseus killing the suitors of his wife Penelope.
>Telegony by Eugammon, which describes Odysseus' voyage to Thesprotia and return to Ithaca, and death at the hands of an illegitimate son Telegonus.

There's literally no proof that the other books of the Epic Cycle were anything other than the ancient equivalent of fan-fic.
