To argue that the loss of a boy's physical beauty is somehow wrong, that seeing a beautiful youth turn into an "ugly old ass dude" somehow makes him a lesser person - just goes to show that OP (and those that agree with him) don't actually value boys or men as persons, but as objects to be used for their own, selfish desires. This mindset is disgusting as we observe this all the time from men with the mind of dogs doing this to women, but to see other men do this to boys is unsettling and frustrating. I say this as someone who finds beauty in the male form (both young and mature).
Baudri of Bourgueil, when writing to one of his students regarding his arrogance and temperament writes:
"Your appearance pleases, because it is both decent and beautiful;
Your downy cheeks, your blond hair and modest lips please;
Your voice is honey and balm to my ears;
You will be a second Orpheus, unless age spoils your voice;
Your white skin and ivory breast suit these well;
A touch from this snowy body gives the hands sportive pleasure"
This is Baudri complimenting the boy for his good qualities, but he must also discipline him for his behavior
"I have no praise for your rude manners;
It is crude to sport haughtiness;
That you'll hardly honor anyone with a sideways glance;
If you wish boy, to please me,
Then you must strip off these arrogant manners."
Baudri recognizes that underneath that physical beauty is a person, a soul that can easily be corrupted or tainted and quickly become ugly. To be so reductive toward the nature of boys and boyhood, to only focus on their physical appearance, shows that OP doesn't actually care about boys at all.
