The early Arab conquests were so outrageously lucky you can understand why Muslims think there was some sort of divine intervention going on and why non Muslims who were subjugated by them have zero respect for what they accomplished. I can’t think of another instance in history where a people who were inferior to their enemies in almost every conceivable way were able to conquer them so thoroughly. Funny enough it reminds me a lot of Arabs discovering trillions of dollars of oil beneath their feet-just sheer luck with zero effort. Is there something I’m missing?

Of all the military campaigns the Muslims made, literally only one defeat was caused by the disobedience of archers who left their posts. This is pure semantics. First, there was a very good reserve on both sides, including the Byzantine navy, which the Persians feared. The first armies to march beyond the blessed peninsula were not only smaller in number, but also sparsely armed, some even lacking cavalry. I think Persians intentionally let Islam win to weaken the Romans and then infiltrated it from within in the aftermath-twisting it to serve their own interests.
