All Greek statues have curly hair and distinctive profiles. Where do you see Scandinavians there? I understand that northern people are upset that they didn't leave any significant traces in ancient times, but what can you do?

"Nordicist" is an ideology, most of its adherents (nowadays at least) are not from the actual Nordic countries, but rather Americans (usually, but not always, of broadly Central-Northern European ancestry), others from the Anglosphere like British or Canadians, Russians, sometimes even Latin Americans. There are some actual Nordics (like Varg Vikernes), but they are a minority

Americans are weird in general, they often seem to think that their or their family's specific quirks/peculiarities are indicative of some deeply rooted ethnic culture. Care to elaborate? Greeks (modern ones, but likely also ancient ones) are usually meso-brachycephalic Alpine-Dinaric-Mediterranean hybrids, with other, weaker elements being present here and there. I could give a more detailed description of what phenotypes dominate in each region, but, as a general rule, altitude and distance from the sea are fairly important factors. Still, average Greek pretty much anywhere is close to the mix I described above
