My dirt poor rural Texas ancestors got electricity by the late 1930s and only the poorest of the poor didn’t have electricity and indoor plumbing once the postwar boom hit. Plenty of things sucked about the 50s but the average American was living large compared to previous decades and the rest of the world.

The traffic on the original 8ch before it was shutdown was insane. You couldn't keep up with the threads because there were so many organic comments. Sure, there were fedposters there too but they didn't OWN 8ch. So like 99% of the posts were organic.

Getting farmers to stop producing food would cause mass death of NPCs.
