Is legally downloading illegally copied content sinful? For example, is going on youtube to listen to a compilation of songs from an era a sin? What if the person listening would have never paid for the original work even if they couldn't access it for free?

ESL babble. But what exactly am I taking from them? I'm not taking their masters. I may be infringing on rights to reproduce (which is a law that can be broken, but not all laws are necessarily "moral"), but if I'm not selling it for monetary gain, once again what am I stealing? Many people copied or reproduced things over the years for the purpose of media preservation.

Not all laws are moral. This isn't speaking like a "criminal" these are acknowledging facts. It wasn't moral for the Catholic Church to persecute Protestants. It wasn't moral for people to own slaves. It wasn't moral for politicians to use children as labor, or for Nazis to gas Jews, or for Russians to kill Ukranians and Christians. It's not moral to bring in tons of immigrants while denying your own populace a job. The law of man and God's law are two different things.
