Holidays are important, without them life would be pretty bland and shitty. In the middle ages, before Protestantism came along, there was practically a feast day every day. People would order their entire lives around a saints day, timing their harvests around them, etc. People were more merry back then as well, because life sucked in general, so holidays ("holy days") gave life meaning and order. This is where some of the radical fundamentalist Christian sects go wrong. But not just them but also radical atheism like what was in the communist nations. We need holidays, as humans. We need to keep track of time. We need to remember the cyclical nature of it all. Holidays are Biblical, even, the Israelites had a ton of them. The new Israel, the Christian Church, should also have a ton.

European holidays are all rebranded pagan holidays. That's why the prots flipped their shit and got rid of all the ones they could get away with, and that's why the catholics march around with literal idols and throw holy water at trees.

Festivals of the old law. We are now in the new law. Anyway holidays like Easter are literally just an extension of Pesach. Literally in most languages beyond English Easter is called Pascha "Passover".
