Jesus never existed
The Gospels were written several decades after him and were written not even by eyewitnesses (who would have been illiterate Aramaic-speaking Galilean peasants) but rather by educated Greek-speakers who never met the apostles. They got their information from world of mouth.

The story of Jesus’ crucifixion is also full of holes. It claims that Pilate asked the crowd whether they’d choose to spare Jesus or Barnabas, claiming this is a Roman tradition, even though there is no evidence of this “tradition” outside the Bible and realistically he would have crucified both.

The Christian Church is the biggest scam to this day. A more sophisticated scam than anything jews have ever built. Christians have successfully outscammed the scammers.

Not just for Jesus himself but there is little to nothing known about his apostles as well to deduce whether these were real people he interacted with that left behind a legacy or just made up characters.

Two of the Gospels were written by witnesses.
There is some debate about which language Matthew used for his Gospel, but he was a tax collector who worked in an area where he would need to speak Greek. He did know Greek.
John also knew Greek, since he wrote it in Ephesus...

>The two Gospels in question also describe mutually exclusive events

If somebody writes "I was an eyewitness" during their lifetime it's an eyewitness account.
If somebody else writes "he was an eyewitness" 100 years after the fact, it's not an eyewitness account.
Get a sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle. The left side is the reasons we think Julius Caesar was real. The right side is reasons we think Jesus was real.
Your first entry on the Julius Caesar side is "multiple independent contemporary primary sources."
Your first entry on the Jesus side is either "Book of magical tales written 100 years post facto" or "mentioned by one foreign historian 200 years post facto."
Not a difficult exercise.

They aren't, but either way you are moving the goalposts
You claimed that the eye witnesses would be:
>who would have been illiterate Aramaic-speaking Galilean peasants
Which is not true. For example, there were publicans, who were not illiterate, not peasants and who could speak Greek. There were wealthy, well educated women such as Mary Magdalene. And Jesus did preach in Hellenistic areas.

I'm not OP.
Either Jesus died before Passover, or after Passover.
And the allegation of the writers actually being witnesses still stands.

Wait, you are claiming the Gospels were written after 133 AD?

Pretty hard to convince the Romans that they've lost a war that never even happened.

The OT was originally written in Greek, the NT originally in Latin.

There aren't tho. You have sources referring to Christians and what they believe. That doesn't prove Jesus existed.

>Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judæa, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular.
-Cornelius Tacitus

>inb4 "he got his information from Christians"
Zero evidence of that.
>inb4 "It's a later interpolation by Christians"
Zero evidence of that
>Inb4 "he doesn't cite any sources therefore we can't trust this"
Then you may as well give up on studying ancient history, because ancient authors rarely ever do.

The Crucifixion was in 33AD.
Paul had written some of his letters in about 50 AD.
I'm not quite that good at math but 50-33 is like 17, which is not close to 100.

Even if you consider Gospels only, according to traditional views Matthew would have been written about that time too. And even if you consider the Atheist consensus, Mark was written in 70AD.
70-33 is 37. Again, not close to 100 years.
