My ancestors were different shades of Christians for the past 1,500 or so years and the pagan beliefs of their pre-Christian ancestors (weird period to focus on) are impossible to reconstruct. Also you are Indian.

Because it was messed up? You don’t sign treaties with people and then integrate them only to steal all their stuff and send them on death marches. It was absolutely amoral and even people at the time called it such.
