Because they don't know how to worship the magical black people of Rio properly, that's basically it. If they can ask for a little majs, I'm sure it will be like my neighborhood, Little Haiti, in Maimi. Believe in the plan, Black man.
But there may be other factors, such as a lack of long-term thinking and a tendency toward extreme conformity. (I tried to be as euphemistic as possible here.)
