I genuinely don't understand what this nigga wanted. Like the guy was a full-blown socialist that wanted to use violent means to build an actual national socialist state, it seems like it would be way easier to reconcile his views with the more pacifistic democratic views of the SPD than to reconcile his socialist views with the NSDAP and it's reactionary allies. Is there like a specific reason he felt scorned by the mainstream socialist party?

National socialism opposed communism because communists were anti-nationalist and too extremist. Think how Ebert killed Rosa Luxemburg and socialist revolutionaries opposed Bolsheviks to continue war with Germany, similar situation.

North Korea is democratic according to marxist-leninist understanding of democracy. If they believe dictatorship is what true democracy is about, who am I to judge them?

I am not talking about the KPD, I can understand opposition to the KPD as their alignment with Moscow and absolute opposition to militarization is fundamentally irreconcilable with Rohm's views as far as I can tell. I am talking more so about why he would oppose the SPD, who were an actual mainstream socialist party that seems to align with Rohm's ideas aside from the more racial and militaristic aspects of his beliefs. It seems easier to convince the "no more battlecruisers" party to build battlecruisers than to convince the reactionary party to support a socialist economic agenda. Especially given that the SPD had assented to the whole "put a bullet in Rosa Luxembourg's head" idea prior. Was there like a specific event prior to the Beer Hall Putsch that put Rohm on a path of absolute opposition to the SPD or was it just the typical "stabbed in the back" deal where he blamed the SPD for the loss in WW1?
