When I was young I used to be told, or have read, that blacks were basically the most Christian people around before jazz destroyed them, is that true? Hip-hop was the final nail on the coffin

I've heard the same thing from people in my area but I really just think it's that there weren't many blacks here before the great migration. Basically every city you think of as a black shithole in the north was once almost entirely white. Go and read some local news in the south from the 1800s and you'll read about the same type of niggershines you'd see today.
