If the German army was supposedly so advanced, why was the Wehrmacht's logistics based on horse-drawn wagons, and German tanks like Panthers and Tigers broke down so badly?

Europe had pretty strong horses breed for centuries to be able to go into Battle carrying 300pds of knights.

Inexperienced crews didnt know how to best utilize their tanks.
early German tanks had the same reliability problems but because crews were training with them from factory (they literally spent a week in the factory helping with assembly) to field which lasted sometimes 6 months they could very easily maintain their armor.
When training was cut down to three months and eventually 4 weeks the breakdowns became exceedingly common from preventable user error.
