On Enjoying Hell
Enjoy-Hell-Guy is infamous by now, but I'd like to state, for the record, that everyone in Hell is getting a punishment PROPORTIONATE to their sins. For example, a serial killer is burning hotter than a thief. Everyone in Hell is judged according to the weight of their good and evil deeds. They brought it upon themselves. The thing is is that man's goodness cannot exceed the bad, and without any deliverance, they will end up in Hell, the land of the dead. A place of hopelessness sometimes pictured in the general pagan outlook of a bleak afterlife perhaps eating dust for eternity.
The poet Dante went a little overboard with this and his rings of Hell, but the concept of degrees of damnation is biblical.
