I'm reading the Holy Bible (NKJV) for the first time. Enjoying it a lot more than I figured. Currently part way into Leviticus and I'm wondering why Moses isn't discussed more. We're all just going to trust this guy's tales. He could just be a nutjob and make up all kinds of crap (like I assume Muhammed did)

There's nothing wrong with the NKJV. It's just updated into contemporary English instead of it being English from 500 years ago.

Moses is trusted because not only was he the leader of the Israelites, but everyone who survived past that point in the story owed their lives to him.
