It's literally the perfect study mechanism to properly learn form and imagining the art in a 3d space.

You grab the original reference (real artwork done by a real artist), try to draw it from a different angle, use the AI to render a 360 model of the reference, redraw it using that reference, learning from your mistakes, and repeat until you get better at imagining objects in 3d.

Dumb. I'm making a game, and I'm studying specific cel shaded styles, AI simply accelerates the speed at which I can study/breakdown what makes them different and what I like of each one.
It's literally the difference between having a single reference picture vs a 360 video of the model. The video will always be better, but using AI gives you the ability to study specific proportions and styles of different artists.

The AI renders are far from perfect, they have multiple artifacts/hallucinations of anatomy, however, it's a good baseline for me to study for UE5 shaders, 3d models, and overall design. It's a stepping stone which accelerates the process of studying.

I can add a way to import people client side though, you'll have to put the username and profile picture url.
As for updating I'll probably use git's scheduled pipeline to run the script and trigger a deploy on Render. I just don't want to end up ddosing the site or using too much bandwith so it'll run every 5 days or something. Maybe shorter periods if banana says it's fine. The repo has to be private, for that purpose.

We're living in an era of illustration where the mainline aesthetic norm is dominated by this kind of cutesy anime style with a lot of emphasis on the kind of appeal that comes naturally to a female artist. If we go back 30 years the illustration world looks a lot different, and extreme and edgy styles are much more mainstream, the kind of appeal that comes more naturally to a male artist. Mainstream aesthetics come and go so we may already be on the road to something totally new, or a repeat of a previous iteration of a mainstream style.
There are always outliers in terms of drawing of course, but for the most part men and women draw differently. It's like a difference between emphasis on character and emphasis on action.

Women tend to have better appeal and aesthetics cause they tend to draw a lot from an earlier age since drawing in general is seen as something feminine and just not that useful for most people.
Then you get people later in life over 18 or so who picked up drawing and went about it the "right" way starting with fundies and all that, who's drawing might be more technically sound but it lacks appeal in general. I don't think it's a matter of gender in the end since i'm part of the second group and a femoid.

gender shit doesn't make sense to me. the subjects i like to draw have little to no correlation with me being male and has always had everything to do with what i like, and even the things i like don't skew in any particular direction with gender. people think about it way too much and that's how the trans shit happens

It was nothing very interesting so I think it's an alright thing to be lost to time. I used to live in a more rural area a bit to study, and relying on public transport to take me home. I took the same bus every day I went out. Then one summer there was a day I was feeling massively depressed, I took that exact same bus, same number and all, but it departed in an unfamiliar direction. I travelled a few stops and got out somewhere I had never seen before. It's a fond memory, I remember feeling like having all the time in the world. No one waiting for me, nowhere to be, no point to anything at all. Although it took me a while, I eventually found my way back.
I bought a cheap single use camera back then, in case I see something I want to remember someday, and wanted it to feel more personal than a normal digital photo. Ended up snapped some pictures along the way that I still have.
