Making art is like taking a shit. You get ideas and then have to make them.

But if you start to fear the people who follow you you done fucked up son. You have to do regular purges of your audience so that you get rid of the troglodytes that would rather backstab you when you draw something they don't like. They have less power without a critical mass of people who agree vs everyone else telling them to shut the fuck up and leave.
It's more important to be wary of who you get CLOSE to (which includes OTHER ARTISTS) because BPD fuckers will quite literally see no problem with lying if it soothes their own emotions.
