Nah i actually agree, different figures helps a lot in making different characters stand out from eachother. I dont think that anyone should quit art though, you'll end up regretting it and missing years that you could've spent improving when you eventually crawl back to it, or the unfulfilled creative urge will make you rot from the inside out when you get an I idea that you just really need to draw.
