Have 4 podcast and 4 music recs, brother. Pic rel is some of the stuff I draw (I'm mainly a 3D guy now, but I still draw).
I'll also be doing a bit of a sales pitch for my music recs, I feel like anons posting music on da 4chinz in general rarely speak about the genres or songs themselves which leads to me not being motivated to click their links, I'd rather be told in advance what the stuff I'm about to click on is about before opening something which may not be up my alley. Many such cases, time is money gentlemen, I'd like to humbly advise to place a label of sorts to your links, anything so as to inform other anons what they're getting into, look at it the same way as labeling products in a supermarket instead of placing them on shelves without any identifying information.
Just an idea, you be the judge on whether it is based or whether it is cringe.
>podcasts and adjacent:
- OceanlinerDesigns (interesting videos about the history of ships with a well spoken and educated host)
- CountDankula (you know him, he covers weird irl events and people)
- PapaMeat (ditto, with a more overtly comedic direction)
- Wendigoon (also covers stories and people this time with a preference for more mysterious, esoteric or conspirace-y recountings)
>music:
I've been fixated with post-punk / coldwave / darkwave / gothic rock for the past couple of years. Big nebulous genre, lots of bass, reverb, it's melancholic, brooding, with a fascination for sepulcral themes.
Here's 4 examples:
- Nevermore - Midnight
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1o6c3gzzOkA (this genre can be surprisingly upbeat sometimes)
- Lebanon Hanover - Gallowdance Vladnerq Remix
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVUSB7Kz5kg (...or be aggressive)
- Message - Strange Voice
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi5uE_7EWWs (...or be depressive)
- The Sisterhood - Giving Ground
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX5cfMMM-LI (...or, finally, be groovy as fuck and otherwordly, this song's my favourite of this genre)
