How to improve work flow? What your tricks & tips.

What are some good sites to obtain manga tones/assets?

Also looking for comic book balloons, free to use stylish fonts and other assets.

Finally any book or resource on Chinese Manhua.

I appreciate any help, thanks.

For comic resources, Clip Studio Paint's built-in tools are the best. The asset store has an absolute shitload of free stuff too. Mine's pirated, it will still allow you to access the store and even download paid assets if you give them money.

As for fonts, CC Wild Words and Anime Ace are the most common fonts for dialogue. Dunno about manhua specifically. Check out Blambot and ComicCraft font sets, you can also find them for free online.

also, check out Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics and Making Comics books, lots of essential information in them. Good luck

Workflow?
If I have a story idea it goes like this.

Stare at the cieling daydreaming the scene like a movie playing in my head. Using my minds eye.
I then brake down the scene in to a comic book format with paneling in key story beats establishing shots, or frames, what have you.
I then think of how many panels I may need for a given page. For it to flow properly and move to the next.
I then think of how I want those panels to flow to make it interesting or fit the mood of the story. To lead the readers eye.
After more daydreaming, editing the scene like I have Adobe premier installed in my head, I finally begin sketching the page.

To sum this up for practice, take a movie scene from one of your favorite movies and figure out how you'd make it into a comic book.

Record your workflow. Study it. This is the only way. All top performers in any field do this.
