what exactly made you hate it so much?, (nice paint brush skillz btw)

I would post my current failing attempt but I think it would come across as me seeking validation, so I'll just leave it at my feelings. It feels like the more i work on a piece, and the more studies I do outside of it, the more I hate the initial painting that I thought was really good, because all I can see are errors in poses, anatomy, lighting, rendering as I continue working on it. So I go through and try to fix it only for another mistake to become apparent somewhere else, only to eventually loop back to where I had "fixed" an issue because I can now see that it was in fact not fixed after having done some studies on that specific part of the body or can see that the lighting is off, etc

in a way its kind of reassuring to see someone share the exact same thought process as me

I just thought it looked ugly/wonky around the face and the colors were kind of weird, still not super happy with the re-draw (pic rel) but I learned a lot from it

Why is the standing up sketch like super beg tier but the upper right one is low int

It does look ugly, hideous even
>>7667907
I'm not saying you suck, you don't suck. No pun intended. But this style your trying is hideous. The giant tits, thick nipples and veins cock at least I understand some freaks out there love this shit. But the woman is just plain ugly. She honestly looks like a tranny. Also her fib cage is basically flat and her tits look retarded because of it

What if everything i draw can fit into the "failed attempt" category?

Yeah, the piece flopped hard so you're right. I was drawing inspo for the face from a bunch of different styles and I think I ended up with the worst of all worlds. I've since abandoned that style. She's supposed to be hunching over a bit but I guess that doesn't read. Lately I've been grinding cute anime faces because as you've pointed out the face is extremely unappealing.

I mean I'm not saying you need to conform or draw anime, although if that pic is yours it looks good.

It is mine, thanks
I have a thing for ugly women in coom art, but it's just not popular. As I said, the piece flopped and I can't blame people for not liking it if the woman is ugly, so for now it's back to the proverbial/literal drawing board until I find something with broader appeal.

I will say even though she's "ugly" the technical skill you have is very obvious

Gotta level with you chief, this style is fine. Other anon is brainrotted from looking at too much anime lolita, these people will see the slightest amount of jaw/cheekbone definition and say it looks ugly even if it looks like a nordic goddess.
Only actual nitpick I can find in this piece is the orbicularis oris has a little too much volume, making the join between nose and lip look slightly swollen. For the dicksuck piece the colours are rather washed out and you should focus studies on where the breast connects to the torso -- maybe add a little more roundness to the top of the breast but that's personal preference. Hands are almost there, just a bit wonky but that's a standard struggle that more studies/simplification can fix. That aside you're clearly on the right track with your studies.
Checked your twitter and I think the only reason you're not "doing numbers" is you gotta further refine your rendering and find a niche to cater that you're into, seen plenty of successful lewd artists with similar material from early in their career. Solid high/int/ material, improvement just gets easier from where you are

I was experimenting with a Robert Marzullo lip shine combined with a Ryan Ottley form shadow, but yes it did end up just looking like a blemish.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind and keep grinding at it.

I've been there. Instead of slamming your head against a wall trying to fix up a single piece pick the one thing that you're struggling the most with, and/or the weakest part of the piece and focus your study sessions there until you feel more confident with it.
e.g. Bad hands? Draw a hundred hands. Connection between leg and hip looks fucked? Draw a hundred pelvises with thighs.

Eventually you'll reach a point where you confidently draw a complete human body in any pose, then you'll try to draw someone holding a gun and realise you can't draw guns. Best part is when you go to study guns you'll pick it up way quicker because you've practiced the art of practice.

Can you elaborate? Pose looked stiff to me while I was going for something like game CG.
