it has been two weeks since I quit drawing and my life has never been better. My mental is clear, I can finally think, and I no longer obsess over my terrible skills just to get some internet fame. I did it.

If drawing is that hard on you, yeah quit.
People get careers in art because THEY LIKE drawing. Why on earth would you ever pursue this hobby/career if you didn't enjoy it, and it made you miserable?
I'm sure this is a BS thread where the OP is somehow trying to demoralise people or something, but it's genuine advice; if you don't like it, why do it?

Literally me. One day I was really fed up with the lack of recognition and improvement and wanted to give up for real. But a few days later I was drawing again. I asked myself why, and couldn't find a reason. I just wanted to draw.

Those first two things you said tie directly to enjoying if you draw or not.
There is zero or near zero money incentive, social status, or civil obligation to drawing. If you don't at the very least enjoy doing it there is literally nothing you can get from it.
This isn't something as simple as a child saying they don't like eating vegetables.
