I was thinking of maybe getting an easel , so I can put my artwork on it, and then take a pic of myself.

yea also putting things like flowers or whatever ornaments match the drawing around it to really dress it up helps things stand out. Photography is also an art

But why?

OP is mad that girls are able to pose next to their art and get more likes than he does. He probably believes he's a much better artist being kept down by the algorithm, and is upset that he can't just be a cute girl.

I like this image because it's a glimpse of the essence of the modern artist.
In the attempt to appear cute and appealing, in both the artist and the art, it achieves the opposite due to the presentation of both subjects; the artwork is mediocre and devoid of any meaning, it's just an attempt at a pretty picture, and the artist presenting herself like that and with loose clothing, despite her physical appearance, in an attempt to garner something as worthless as likes which portrays how shallow the subjects really are, which in turn makes the picture vulgar and grotesque even, displaying the typical hubris and arrogance of womankind.
The messy room is a representation of her mental state; unkept, dirty, chaotic, uncaring thus shameless.

The picture ironically becomes self-satirical.

I mean just about whatever stupid shit you could think of would probably work. Doing a kickflip while holding the picture. Taking creepypasta photos of your art in abandoned buildings or the woods. Putting it next to some dead president's grave with lububus and macha tea.

People will interact with posts that show them a lifestyle they want to have. It works even better if it looks achievable for them. For normies, social media is a way to live life through people's posts.

Show an easel in your room, a sketch made on the street, leave a cheap pen on frame when photographing your sketchbook to show your audience they too could draw like you if they wanted to.

Easels are a scam, you can just use a stepladder with protruding steps or just add a bit of wood to the top one to hold the canvas.

A stepladder on par with that image is gonna be like 80-100 bucks, whereas you can get like a cheap shitty easel for like 10 and just put it on a bench. Plus that angle doesn't seen super comfortable to work at, both low and overly slanted while the wood/steps are too straight.

Also they're kind of heavy compared to easels. It's out of the box thinking though, you know, points.
