If people didn't crave shallow validating content, there wouldn't frauds trying to farm and get successful with it, and without success those frauds wouldn't get protected by their audience against any criticism, so it is basically useless to try and call them out.

He slipped up in a videogame and everyone saw their chance to bring his whole internet career down because that slip up gave them momentum on all the other minor slip ups they did, which resulted in a chain reaction of people joining the drama train.
You can be a fraud for ez e-fame, but you better hustle hard af and make bank quick before you lose any possibility to do so in the future if you get found out.
Or you can build up some skills, have integrity and don't try to pander to slop eaters and earn genuine success which nobody could ever take away from you.
