Social media destroyed artists?
> Was a beginner artist, drawing almost every day
> Start to post arts at social media
> Get frustrated with "muh algorithm" and "le imaginary haters"
> Stop drawing for yeare, erase all social media and works
> Find old IRL friends that draw and start to interact with them
> Joy of drawing and will to practice start to return, even having few time to practice
Is right to say that social media is destroying the creative potential of the artists, even the hobbyists?
Some reasons i can list are:
> Unecessary distractions, impostor syndrome
> Necessity of posting complete arts every single day (Classic artists took even years to do their masterpieces)
> Fear of testing different techniques and themes (the slop of the moment because muh likes)
