Instead of Twitter and other algorithm based sites, use Pixiv, Deviant Art and NewGrounds. Deviant Art brings me the most comms followed by Pixiv. You can even use them all, there's no harm casting wider net.

Really depends on whether you actually want this or not. Coomers don't think, they consoom and draw smut naturally. They don't need money incentives to do so. Noone knows, anon. 10 years ago AI wasn't even a big thing. I've seen a lot of coom artists pop up with good skill and appealing work getting good numbers from the get-go.
It's doable. For now. Building real audience is the hard part.
Hell, some artists can post a colorless sketch and get 30k likes. If that's your idea of making it, then simply keep drawing until that happens. Also having a normie taste helps tremendously, you just need to know how to predict what your audience wants and suprise them.

But if you're still a /beg/ then my advice won't really help, will it. Go draw instead of worrying about all of this. You have hundreds of shit drawings to make.

Also because it's actually pretty trivial to generate pixel artstyle stuff with the right model and loras nowadays. Anyway, not implying the OP's post is, just that there's a decent amount of aiposters so I guess people are getting a bit distrustful.

if you want commissions it's probably better to just stream on picarto and build a following there. people on that site actually want to look at art and talk to artists. it's way better than posting art to twitter and getting likes from people that won't even follow or think about your art for more than 2 seconds.

I don't get where any of you even get the idea you need a big name. The NG forums are a treasure trove of people that actually wanna do cool stuff, same with SomethingAwful, the two places where shit still actually gets done.

This site's entire structure is antithetical to creative endeavors or group projects, learning, or any kind of genuine expression. The only way to do those things is quite literally to leave the platform and work outside of it with the small groups you manage to put names to, defeating the whole purpose of being here.
